VDI conference “IT Security for Vehicles”: The future of attack detection and defense
The 4th International VDI Conference on “IT Security in Vehicles” will be held in Düsseldorf on May 16 and 17, 2018. Cybersecurity experts, software engineers, and development managers from all over the world will come together at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel to exchange ideas on the latest developments in automotive security.
As part of the conference, ESCRYPT security consultant Dr. Michael Herrmann will give a talk on attack detection and defense on May 17 at 1:50 p.m. His presentation is entitled “Intrusion Detection and Prevention on Future Automotive E/E-Architectures” and will address future vehicle electrical system architectures and automotive ethernet. This will be accompanied by ESCRYPT’s presentation of its integrated intrusion detection and prevention solution (IDPS) for individual vehicles and fleets. This will take place in the exhibition area.
