ESCRYPT’s embedded security experts have released version 3.2 of CycurLIB, the successful cryptographic library. This update furnishes CycurLIB with the latest algorithms relevant for use in embedded systems.
New additions include the SHA-3 hash function, the newest member of the SHA family. What’s more, CycurLIB now also offers the ChaCha20 stream cypher, which compared to the popular AES is particularly fast while requiring little memory.
Also now part of CycurLIB is the Ed25519 algorithm, which is easy to use and facilitates a high level of security.
