ASRG webinar: Seven golden rules of automotive security testing
On June 2 at 18:00 CEST, the Automotive Security Research Group (ASRG) invites you to attend a webinar on 'The seven golden rules of successful automotive security testing' via livestream on YouTube.
Due to the ubiquitous and constantly growing threat of cyberattacks on increasingly connected and automated vehicles, it is now imperative for automotive manufacturers and suppliers to detect potential vulnerabilities in their vehicle systems before others do. Security testing is the method of choice for this task. Automotive security tests identify and analyze possible openings for unauthorized persons to gain access to the system’s functions and data. This approach reduces the subsequent risk for vehicle manufacturers and road users.
In the ASRG webinar, Dr. Martin Moser, Head of Consulting & Testing Munich, and Tobias Brennich, Security Consultant & Tester, shed light on various methods and principles of security testing. The ESCRYPT experts will outline which components of an automotive system should be tested and in which setup, and discuss testing requirements resulting from new regulations such as UN R155 and standards such as ISO/SAE 21434.
