On April 2 and 3, the 5th International ATZ Conference on Automated Driving will take place in Wiesbaden, Germany. Artificial intelligence, liability issues, sensors, and not least IT security – the event program shows that the increasing automation of driving functions is having various effects on the sector.

At the conference, Ramona Jung, Security Project Manager at ESCRYPT, will give a presentation entitled “Automotive Ethernet – Opportunities and risks for automotive security,” in which she will explain what new security requirements accompany automated driving functions and the development of Ethernet-based E/E architectures. What new attack vectors does automotive Ethernet present and how are they to be tackled? And how can a multilayered security approach safeguard safety-relevant systems without impairing their time response?

Jung will provide the answers at ATZlive in Wiesbaden in Session II on Wednesday, April 3 at 11:30 a.m. Register for the conference here.
