ConCar Expo 2018, Europe’s largest trade show for automated driving and connected car solutions, will take place in Berlin on June 27 and 28. More than 1,000 visitors from development departments across the automotive industry will convene at the Estrel Congress & Messe Center to discuss the future of mobility. One of this year’s focus topics is IT security for vehicles.
As part of the congress program, Dr. Norbert Bißmeyer will show how overarching IT security for V2X data communication can be organized even in the face of differing requirements in Europe and North America. Starting at 10 a.m. on June 28, the ESCRYPT security engineer will demonstrate which security solutions lend themselves to achieving secure V2X communication in vehicles, traffic systems, and the supporting public key infrastructure, as well as how the V2X landscapes developing on both sides of the Atlantic, with their differing approaches to IT security, can be successfully merged.
Visitors to the ESCRYPT exhibition booth (Booth 24) can also experience how connected vehicles can be protected against manipulation, data espionage, and cyber attacks in the V2X environment of the future.
