Over 450 experts in automotive electronics applications will come together on October 16 and 17 for the ELIV MarketPlace at the Kongresshaus Baden-Baden in Germany. Organized by the VDI Wissensforum, the event offers some 60 expert lectures in 5 parallel sessions. There will also be topic-specific, moderated discussion groups called World Cafés and a large trade exhibition.
Whenever the discussion focuses on the move towards automated driving and new E/E architectures, it follows that security issues will also be on the agenda. That is why ESCRYPT will be presenting its Intrusion Detection and Prevention Solution (IDPS) at the accompanying exhibition. With IDPS, security software components in the vehicle detect anomalies in the electrical system communications. Suspected cyberattacks are evaluated via a backend security operations center, and if necessary, security updates are rolled out to the entire fleet.
