ESCRYPT at the embedded world Conference 2018: inspirational ideas and insights
From February 27 to March 1, Nuremberg will once again be hosting the world’s leading trade show focusing on embedded systems. This year, ESCRYPT will be present in numerous areas of the embedded world Conference.
Hall 4, Booth 558 – IDPS, V2X Security, Cyber Defense Center
ESCRYPT’s exhibit in Booth 4-558 provides stimulating insights into the company’s solutions for intrusion detection and prevention and for secure V2X communication. Its Cyber Defense Center concept offers new options for backend-supported IT security. This approach bears in mind the central philosophy that, in an increasingly digitalized and connected world based on the Internet of Things, IT security still depends on embedded systems but also has to be integrated in the surrounding infrastructure. This calls for an organizational approach that will enable the IoT applications to be monitored and supported throughout their useful life.
Hall 4, Booth 410 – Power presentations
Anyone seeking fresh inspiration on ways of dealing with security issues will find it worthwhile to visit Booth 4-410. Here, ESCRYPT experts will be holding short, stimulating classroom workshops in which to explore and exchange ideas. Who are Alice and Bob and why will they soon be in your car? Is digital blackmail by means of ransomware a real threat to connected vehicles? What are the hackers’ latest strategies and what countermeasures can be taken? Do hardware security modules really improve IT security and how does this affect costs?
You can find answers to these and many other questions on all three days of the conference. You absolutely must stop by: our workshops and presentations start every half hour. Don’t hesitate to challenge the ESCRYPT security experts with your trickiest questions – and, to round out the day, we invite you to join us at our “school’s out party” on February 27 and 28.
