#ITconnects2020: Unique automotive event in Berlin
automotiveIT Congress + carIT Congress = #ITconnects2020 – this is the formula for the new largest meeting of the automotive and IT industries in Germany on October 26–27 at the Westhafen Event & Convention Center (WECC) in Berlin. To ensure the health and safety of all participants, the extended two-day event can be experienced both live on-site and virtually.
At #ITconnects2020, automotive manufacturers and suppliers will show how digitalization and new technologies are forever changing business processes and ways of working within the automotive industry, and which enablers of connected and autonomous driving will deliver decisive competitive advantages in the future. One of these success factors will be the cybersecurity of vehicles and vehicle fleets, which has to be organized in accordance with requirements, in terms of processes, and across the entire vehicle lifecycle.
This is why at #ITconnects2020 ESCRYPT will be presenting PROOF, the Product Security Organization Framework, which the company developed in collaboration with management consultancy KPMG. PROOF is a toolbox designed to help OEMs and suppliers efficiently implement the new cybersecurity requirements in the UNECE WP.29 regulation and ISO/SAE 21434. At the event, ESCRYPT will also be demonstrating how a Vehicle Security Operations Center (VSOC) can link in-vehicle intrusion detection with monitoring and attack response in order to provide lasting protection for vehicle fleets.
