July 4, 2018: Secure Connected Products (1 day)

This course is aimed at those who have already mastered the basics of IT security. It will present and explain protocols for the Internet of Things, cover which interfaces are prone to which threats, and demonstrate how to defend against any real attacks. The course covers background information and case studies on connected products, advanced training in identification and authentication, secure communication, safeguarding interfaces, and web services.

Since the second course builds on the first, they can be booked individually or as a package. The courses are given by Dr. Markus Koegel and Dr. Norbert Bißmeyer, expert security consultants at ESCRYPT. In addition to providing new insights and practical tips, both courses are an opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues and the instructors. You can also sign up for one or both courses on November 19–20 and 21, 2018 in Munich.
