Automotive Ethernet Congress: Security in zone-based E/E architectures
The Automotive Ethernet Congress will take place for the seventh time on 9 - 11 February 2021, but for the first time as a virtual event. The conference program will highlight the entire spectrum of topics relating to the use of Ethernet in vehicles.
Together with higher data loads and performance, automotive Ethernet also implies new IT security requirements for the in-vehicle network. In Session 3 "Safety, Security & Robustness", ESCRYPT expert Ramona Jung and Dr. Friedrich Wiemer from Bosch will present a lecture on
- "Automotive Network Security in Zone-based E/E Architectures" - Wednesday, Feb. 10, 5:10-5:40 p.m.
How can a complex heterogeneous in-vehicle network with different bus systems be secured across all sensors, actuators, ECUs and vehicle computers? How can vehicle cybersecurity still be ensured when connectivity is required by deeply embedded ECUs? And how can a zone-based E/E architecture be continuously protected against new attack scenarios? The talk will provide answers to these and other questions.
